1. Research Use Only

All products offered by Friendly Peptides are sold and supplied strictly for legitimate laboratory, analytical, scientific and research purposes.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, our products:

• are NOT intended for human consumption;
• are NOT intended for veterinary consumption;
• must NOT be ingested;
• must NOT be injected;
• must NOT be inhaled;
• must NOT be applied to or administered to a human or animal;
• are NOT offered as medicines or medicinal treatments;
• are NOT food or food supplements;
• are NOT cosmetics;
• are NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, illness or medical condition; and
• must not be purchased, supplied or used for any purpose contrary to applicable law.

Product descriptions, specifications, certificates, analytical results, research information and other material appearing on the Friendly Peptides website are provided solely for legitimate research, analytical and product-identification purposes.

Nothing appearing on our website or in communications from Friendly Peptides constitutes medical advice, prescribing information, dosage guidance, treatment recommendations or instructions for human or veterinary use.

2. Customer Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order with Friendly Peptides.

By placing an order, you represent and confirm that:

Friendly Peptides reserves the right to refuse an order where satisfactory verification cannot be completed.

3. Research-Use Purchase Declaration

Customers may be required to complete and accept a Research Use Purchase Declaration before completing an order.

By accepting that declaration and submitting an order, you confirm that the products are being purchased solely for the legitimate research purposes declared by you.

You must not provide false, misleading or deliberately incomplete information.

4. Prohibited Use

You must not purchase products from Friendly Peptides if you intend, suspect or reasonably expect that they will subsequently be used for a prohibited purpose.

Where we have reasonable grounds to believe that an order is inconsistent with these restrictions, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel it.

5. No Human Consumption or Administration

Products supplied by Friendly Peptides are not supplied for human consumption or administration.

Customers must not:

• ingest the products;
• inject the products;
• inhale the products;
• administer the products orally, intravenously, intramuscularly, subcutaneously or by any other route;

The presence of information concerning a compound's chemical characteristics, published research, analytical properties or scientific literature must not be interpreted as an instruction, recommendation or encouragement to use that compound in humans or animals.

6. Product Information

Friendly Peptides takes reasonable steps to ensure that product descriptions and specifications displayed on our website are accurate.

However, product photographs, labels, packaging and presentation may occasionally differ from images displayed on the website.

Any certificate of analysis, laboratory result, technical specification or similar documentation associated with a product is provided for research and analytical purposes.

Customers remain responsible for determining whether a particular product and specification are suitable for their legitimate research requirements.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, we do not guarantee that a product will produce any particular experimental or research outcome.

7. Product Testing and Documentation

Where documentation relates to a particular batch, it should not automatically be interpreted as applying to another batch unless expressly stated.

8. Laboratory Handling and Storage

Products supplied by Friendly Peptides may require specialist laboratory handling, storage and disposal procedures.

Products should only be handled by persons possessing appropriate knowledge, training, equipment and facilities.

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that products are:

• received appropriately;
• stored securely;
• stored under appropriate environmental conditions;
• protected against contamination;
• handled using appropriate laboratory procedures and personal protective equipment where required;
• inaccessible to children, vulnerable persons and unauthorised individuals; and

9. Placing an Order

Submitting an order through the Friendly Peptides website constitutes an offer to purchase the products identified in that order subject to these Terms.

An automated order acknowledgement or payment confirmation does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of your order.

Orders may be subject to stock, payment, fraud-prevention and compliance checks before acceptance and dispatch.

Friendly Peptides reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where, for example:

• a product is unavailable;
• incorrect pricing or product information has been displayed;
• payment cannot be authorised;
• fraudulent or unauthorised payment is reasonably suspected;
• required purchaser information or verification has not been completed;
• the delivery address cannot reasonably be serviced;
• information supplied by the purchaser appears false or misleading;
• we reasonably suspect that products are being purchased for a prohibited purpose;

Where an order is cancelled by us before supply and payment has already been collected, any refund legally due will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method.

10. Prices

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) unless expressly stated otherwise.

Applicable VAT, taxes, delivery charges or other charges will be displayed or dealt with as required.

Friendly Peptides may change prices at any time. A price change will not ordinarily affect an order already accepted by us, except where permitted by law.

We reserve the right to correct genuine and obvious pricing errors.

Where an obvious pricing error has occurred, we may contact the purchaser before accepting the affected order and provide an opportunity to purchase at the correct price or cancel the order.

11. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods made available through our checkout.

An order may be held or cancelled if payment cannot be successfully authorised or received.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they are authorised to use the payment method submitted.

We may carry out reasonable fraud-prevention and transaction-verification checks.

12. Order Processing

Orders are subject to payment confirmation, stock availability and any customer, fraud-prevention or compliance checks we consider reasonably necessary.

We endeavour to process orders efficiently but processing times may vary.

If an order contains one or more pre-order items, all items in that order will ordinarily be held and dispatched together as one parcel when every item is ready. In-stock items are not dispatched separately unless we expressly agree otherwise.

Please ensure that all order information is correct before submitting payment.

13. Dispatch Time

Orders may take between 1 and 8 working days to be dispatched.

The 1 to 8 working-day period relates to dispatch and is not a guaranteed delivery timeframe.

Working days ordinarily mean Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

The processing period will ordinarily begin after:

• successful receipt or authorisation of payment; and
• completion of any information or verification reasonably required in relation to the order.

Although many orders may be dispatched sooner, customers should allow the full 1 to 8 working-day processing period before contacting us solely to ask whether an order has been dispatched.

Dispatch may occasionally take longer because of circumstances including:

• unusually high order volumes;
• stock availability;
• batch processing or quality-control requirements;
• payment verification;
• customer-verification requirements;
• postal or courier disruption;
• severe weather;
• public holidays; or
• other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will take reasonable steps to fulfil accepted orders within the applicable timeframe and will comply with any delivery obligations imposed by law.

14. Delivery

Delivery estimates shown during checkout or supplied by a courier are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery time is additional to our order-processing and dispatch period.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery times may be affected by courier networks, postal disruption, adverse weather, public holidays and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for supplying a complete and accurate delivery address.

Please check your delivery details carefully before completing your order.

Where permitted by law, additional reasonable delivery costs may apply if an order has to be resent because the purchaser:

• supplied an incorrect or incomplete address;
• failed to collect a parcel;
• refused delivery without a valid legal reason; or
• otherwise caused delivery to fail.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Delivery Problems

If tracking indicates a problem with your shipment, please contact Friendly Peptides at contact@friendlypeptides.co.uk and provide your order number.

We may ask you to confirm your delivery address and provide other information reasonably required to investigate the shipment with the relevant carrier.

Customers should not assume that a delayed tracking update means that a parcel has been permanently lost.

We will investigate legitimate delivery issues and provide any remedy required under applicable law.

16. Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Products

Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.

If:

• you receive an incorrect product;
• a product arrives damaged;
• part of your order is missing; or
• you believe the goods otherwise do not conform to the order,

Include your order number and a description of the issue.

We may reasonably request photographs showing:

• the shipping packaging;
• shipping label;
• product packaging;
• product label;
• damage complained of; and
• other relevant information.

Where possible and safe, please retain the affected goods and packaging while the matter is investigated.

Your statutory rights are unaffected.

17. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

Because Friendly Peptides supplies specialist research materials for which handling, storage, contamination, product integrity and chain of custody can be important, products must not be returned without prior authorisation from Friendly Peptides.

Change-of-mind returns

Friendly Peptides does not voluntarily offer returns, exchanges or refunds merely because a purchaser changes their mind, no longer requires a product or has ordered an incorrect product, except where the purchaser has a statutory or contractual right to cancel or return the order. Change-of-mind returns may not be accepted for opened sealed research materials where an applicable health, hygiene, deterioration or other legal exception applies.

Problems with an order

If an order is damaged, faulty, incorrect, incomplete or not delivered, contact contact@friendlypeptides.co.uk as soon as reasonably possible. Include your order number, a clear description of the issue and reasonable supporting evidence, such as photographs of the parcel, shipping label, product packaging, product label and damage where relevant.

After the issue has been assessed, an appropriate remedy may include a replacement, partial refund (including an appropriate delivery-cost adjustment) or full refund, as agreed or required by applicable law. Refunds are not issued automatically.

Statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits or restricts any right to a cancellation, refund, repair, replacement or other remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

Where you purchase as a consumer, applicable law may provide rights relating to distance contracts and goods that are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.

Certain categories and circumstances can be subject to exceptions to statutory cancellation rights. Whether an exception applies will depend upon the particular goods and circumstances.

If you believe you have a legal right to cancel an order, return goods or receive a refund, contact contact@friendlypeptides.co.uk with your order number and sufficient information and evidence for us to assess your request.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

18. Cancellation Before Dispatch

If you wish to request cancellation of an order that has not yet been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible.

We will attempt to accommodate the request where reasonably possible.

However, submitting a cancellation request does not necessarily guarantee that processing or dispatch can be stopped.

Any statutory cancellation rights available to you remain unaffected.

21. Resale and Transfer
